Cracks can cause subsoil water to leak into a faulty structure or storage water to leak out. Furthermore, cracks can expose reinforcing steel to oxygen and moisture, making the steel susceptible to corrosion. At C&K Remedial Building, these problems are tackled through the most sophisticated systems of injection using state-of-the-art machines to completely fill the crack either with epoxy or polyurethane resins.
First, the surface is cleaned thoroughly to remove any debris. Then an epoxy paste is applied to bond the two sections. This creates a well for the liquid epoxy to be injected into once the surface ports have hardened.
There are some restrictions to using Crack Injection, but if the conditions are right, it offers a safe and affordable solution for concrete repair.
